How often are prices updated?

Our system operates with "Live Data Stream" technology. Market data is processed the moment it reaches our system. The margins you set or any manual interventions are reflected on your storefront screen within milliseconds. No delays, no freezing; whatever the market is, your display matches it.

Where do you get price data from?

At XchangeTR, we do not rely on a single source. Our pricing infrastructure uses a special algorithm created by blending global markets and local free market data. Thus, we minimize the risk of data interruption and bring the healthiest, most realistic market average to your screen.

Which currencies and gold types are available?

Currently, the market's most traded items are active:

  • Currency: USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, SAR, and major currencies.
  • Gold: Gram, Quarter, Half, Full, Republic (Ata), 22k, 14k.
  • Silver: Gram Silver.

Expanding List: Our infrastructure is flexible; new currencies, parities, and precious metals are continuously added to the system according to market demands.

Can employees or others change prices?

No, security is our priority. The XchangeTR system works in two separate modes: "Admin" and "Showcase".

  • Admin Panel: The center where prices and margins are set, accessible only with the business owner's password.
  • Showcase Screen: Only displays prices. Even if the showcase tablet is touched, prices cannot be changed. Control is completely and solely yours.
Who is responsible if I lose money due to a wrong price?

XchangeTR is not a financial advisor or bank, but a professional "Showcase Management Technology". The system reflects the raw market data plus the profit margin (spread) you set onto the screen. Margin settings, manual price entries, and commercial transactions are entirely at the business owner's discretion. XchangeTR cannot be held responsible for commercial losses arising from possible internet outages, data delays, or incorrect margin settings.

How does pricing and subscription work?

We are currently in a special "Early Access" period. You can start experiencing all features of XchangeTR without paying any setup fee. In the future; flexible subscription packages that are contract-free, cancelable at any time, and add value to your business will come into effect. We have no surprise bills or hidden fees.

How do I get started? What's the signup process?

Get started in 3 easy steps:

  • 1. Download the app: Get XchangeTR from Google Play Store or App Store.
  • 2. Add your business: Fill out the application form via "Add My Business" button.
  • 3. Approval and use: Once our team reviews your application, you can start using immediately.

The entire process is typically completed within 24 hours.

Which devices are supported?

XchangeTR works seamlessly on a wide range of devices:

  • Tablets: Android and iPad tablets (ideal for storefront displays)
  • Phones: Android and iPhone devices
  • Smart TV: Android TV support for large screen displays

You can use multiple devices with a single account.

What happens if the internet goes down?

When your internet connection is lost:

  • Last prices are retained: The most recent prices continue to display on screen.
  • Warning is shown: A "Waiting for connection" notification appears.
  • Auto-reconnects: The system updates instantly when internet returns.

A stable WiFi or mobile data connection is recommended.

Can I use it for multiple branches?

Yes! You can create separate profiles for each branch:

  • Each branch can manage its own prices and margin settings
  • Control all branches from a central management panel
  • Set branch-specific working hours

What languages does the app support?

XchangeTR is currently available in two languages:

  • 🇹🇷 Turkish: Full Turkish interface support
  • 🇬🇧 English: English option for international users

You can easily change your language preference in the app settings.

How does the price alert work?

Tap the Bell icon next to any rate on the main screen to set an alert. Choose "Below" or "Above" as the condition and enter your target price. You'll receive a push notification when the price reaches your target.

You can set multiple alerts and manage them from the "My Alarms" section in the menu.

What does the colored dot next to prices mean?

This dot is a freshness indicator for the price data:

  • Green: Price is current (updated within the last 15 minutes)
  • Yellow: Price is slightly stale (15-60 minutes old)
  • Red: Price is outdated (older than 1 hour or outside business hours)

This helps you identify which shops are actively updating their prices.

How can I delete my account?

Go to "My Profile" from the menu and press the "Delete Account" button at the bottom. Deletion is irreversible; all your data (favorites, alarms, vote history) will be permanently removed.

How do I enable or disable notifications?

The app requests notification permission on first launch. Once granted, you'll receive price alerts and important updates as notifications.

  • To disable notifications: Go to your device settings and revoke notification permission for XchangeTR.
  • To manage alarms: Delete individual alarms from the "My Alarms" section in the menu.
