How to Use?

Tracking currency and gold with XchangeTR is very easy!

Download the App or Use Web

📱 Mobile App

  1. Download XchangeTR from Google Play Store or App Store
  2. Read and accept the Privacy Policy/Terms when you open the app
  3. Location permission is recommended (to see nearest shops)

🌐 Web Application

  1. Go to app.xchangetr.com from any browser
  2. Use directly without installing any app
  3. Ideal for tablet or computer as a display screen

Tip: The web version is especially suitable for display screens. You can use it as a price board by connecting via browser on your tablet or TV.

Theme & Language Settings

  1. To switch between Dark and Light mode, click the Moon or Sun icon at the top right (this setting is also available on the Map screen!).
  2. To change language, use the TR / EN buttons in the top menu.

The app currently supports Turkish and English.

Find Shop on Map

  1. Click the map button at the bottom right of the main screen
  2. Filter with USD, EUR or GOLD buttons at the top left
  3. The shop marked with a Green Star (⭐) gives the best price
  4. Click on a shop → View prices → Go with "DIRECTIONS"

Tip: The blue circle shows a 2.5 km area (30 min walking distance) around you.

Smart Price Finder

  1. Go to "Smart Price Finder" from the menu
  2. Select currency/gold: USD, EUR or Gold
  3. Select transaction type: "Buy" or "Sell"
  4. Enter amount (e.g., 100 Dollars)
  5. Press the CALCULATE button
  6. The shop(s) giving you the best price will be listed!

Voting System

We check the price accuracy of shops as a community!

How to Vote?

  1. Return to the app after shopping at a shop
  2. Go to that shop's detail page
  3. Press 👍 Correct or 👎 Incorrect button
  4. Your location is verified via GPS (you must be within 150m of the shop)

Effect of Votes

  • 👍 Correct Price: Shop's trust score increases, rises in listings
  • 👎 Incorrect Price: Trust score decreases, other users are warned
  • Shops with consistently incorrect prices are marked with "⚠️" icon on the map

Security: You can only give 1 vote to the same shop within 1 hour. You must be within 150 meters of the shop. Fake GPS is detected and the vote is invalidated.

Price Alert

Get notified when the price reaches your target — no need to constantly watch the market.

  1. Tap the Alarm (Bell) icon next to any rate on the main screen
  2. Select a condition: "Below" or "Above"
  3. Enter your target price (e.g., USD Buy 38.50 TL)
  4. Press the SET ALARM button
  5. You'll receive a push notification when the price reaches your target!

Tip: You can set multiple alarms. To edit or delete your alarms, go to "My Alarms" in the menu.

Favorites

Add frequently visited shops to your favorites for quick access.

  1. Open a shop's detail page from the map or list
  2. Tap the Heart icon at the top right
  3. Your favorite shops will be shown at the top of the main screen

Rate Comparison

Compare buy-sell prices from different shops side by side for the same currency.

  1. Tap any rate (e.g., USD) on the main screen
  2. Nearby shops' prices are listed in order on the opened screen
  3. The lowest spread (buy-sell difference) is shown at the top
  4. Tap any shop for details and directions

Market Pulse

Predict the market direction as a community! Vote on where currency and gold prices will go tomorrow.

  1. Find the "Market Pulse" card on the main screen
  2. Choose Up, Down, or Sideways for the daily question
  3. See the community vote distribution in real-time

Tip: You have one vote per day. The vote distribution reflects the overall market expectation.

Profile & Account Management

  1. Go to "My Profile" from the menu
  2. You can edit your name, email, and profile photo
  3. Manage your KVKK preferences (data processing consent) here
  4. To delete your account, use the "Delete Account" button

Register Your Shop

Adding a New Shop

  1. Press the "Add Your Business" button from the menu
  2. Enter business name, authorized person, phone and address information
  3. Upload a photo of the tax plate or signboard
  4. Press the SUBMIT button
  5. Your application will be evaluated within 24 hours

Claiming a Pre-listed Shop

  1. Find your own shop on the map (marked as pre-listed)
  2. Press the "This Business is Mine" button on the detail page
  3. Fill in your information and upload documents
  4. After approval, the shop will be transferred to you

Use the Panel

  1. Click the "Go to My Panel" button from the menu
  2. Enter Buy/Sell values in the price table
  3. Press the SAVE button
  4. Your prices are instantly reflected to customers!

Auto-Pilot (Automatic Pricing)

Continuously monitors the market, auto-updates your prices according to rules set by you!

  1. Press the 🚀 Plane Icon next to any rate in the panel
  2. On the opened screen:
    • Buy Difference: How much lower than market will you buy? (e.g., -0.05 TL)
    • Sell Difference: How much higher than market will you sell? (e.g., +0.15 TL)
  3. Press the START button
  4. The plane icon becomes green → Auto-Pilot is active!

When does it work? The robot runs Monday-Saturday, 08:00-21:00. Standard plan updates every 10 minutes, Premium plan every 5 minutes.

Display and Working Hours

Display Settings

If you want to say "I only sell USD and Gold":

  1. Press the "Display Settings" button
  2. Check items you sell, uncheck ones you don't
  3. Click SAVE

Working Hours

  1. Press the "Working Hours" button
  2. Select opening and closing times
  3. Check working days
  4. Click SAVE

Voting and Trust Score

Customers can vote on the price accuracy of your shop. These scores are important for you!

How is Your Score Affected?

  • 👍 Correct Price Votes: Your trust score increases, you rise in listings
  • 👎 Incorrect Price Votes: Your trust score decreases, customers are warned

What to Do If You Receive Negative Votes?

  1. Check your prices: Are the prices on screen really the prices you charge?
  2. Review Auto-Pilot settings: Are your margin rates correct?
  3. Update quickly: Update prices frequently when the market is volatile
  4. Communicate with customers: Politely explain instant price differences

Tip: Activate the Auto-Pilot feature. This way your prices are automatically updated and wrong price complaints are minimized.

❓ What does "Pre-listed Shop" mean?

Shops added to our map as pre-listed from public records. Their prices are hidden, they become active after being claimed.

❓ Is Auto-Pilot safe?

Yes! Auto-Pilot only works according to rules set by you. You control the spread margins. You can stop it anytime.

❓ Why is my GPS location required?

Only used during voting to ensure you are near the shop. Your location info is not stored or shared.

❓ How long does it take for my application to be approved?

Usually within 24 hours. Make sure your documents are complete.

❓ How often are my prices updated?

With Auto-Pilot active: Standard plan every 10 minutes, Premium every 5 minutes (Monday-Saturday, 08:00-21:00). Manual updates: Reflected instantly. Market data is also refreshed at regular intervals—your storefront always stays live.
